The shorts can be worn high or low on the waist. I personally love to wear high on my waist. The band is nice and thick and holds in my mama pooch. The pockets are large enough to hold your phone or whatever else you may want to stash on them. These were great for running around town, even on a hot summer day. The coral is such a beautiful soft coral. I want them in all the colors now!
